THE FOUNDATION<\/span><\/h2>\n

The Jan\u00e9 Mateu Foundation, private Foundation, is a recently created non-profit organisation, registered with number 3233 in the Register of Foundations of the Generalitat de Catalunya. The Foundation was created to contribute to improving people\u2019s quality of life and well-being.<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

Here at the Jan\u00e9 Mateu Foundation, we firmly believe in humanity\u2019s capacity to build a fairer, more equitable world<\/strong><\/span>, where everyone is free to pursue personal fulfilment by leading a dignified life, participating in holistic development and having their basic needs met. Working from this principle, we have initiated the foundational activities that will lead us to achieve our goals.
\nOur main field of activity is health<\/strong><\/span>, including both direct intervention and research.<\/p>\n

Although the Foundation must be economical in its handling of resources during these early stages, its aims are ambitious, seeking to make the best use of the resources available.<\/p>\n

The Foundation is the brainchild of Juan Jan\u00e9 Mateu, a Catalan entrepreneur<\/strong><\/span> with more than 45 years of experience in his field and an unswerving commitment to health and social issues.<\/p>\n

The Foundation was also born with the great responsibility of ensuring the independence and future of the companies<\/strong><\/span> in which the Foundation has a relevant shareholding, ensuring the maintenance of the foundational activity and guaranteeing its own business continuity. Always with the aim of giving back to the community part of what it has contributed during so many years of work in the world of Health.<\/p>\n

MISSION<\/span><\/h2>\n

At the Jan\u00e9 Mateu Foundation, we want to be useful offering support to institutions and projects<\/strong><\/span> that work to improve people’s well-being, social development and sustainability. We achieve this objective through research, healthcare, professional training and disseminating knowledge.<\/p>\n

We want to reach all people, working groups, entities or institutions working on studies, projects and research that share our mission and values.<\/p>\n
