Gimbernat Journal."},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<div>On 19 October, the Jan\u00e9 Mateu Foundation signed a collaboration agreement with the Royal Academy of Medicine of Catalonia (RAMC).<\/div>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>The Foundation will provide annual financial support to contribute to the Gimbernat publication, &#8220;Revista d&#8217;Hist\u00f2ria de la Medicina i les Ci\u00e8ncies de la Salut.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The event took place in the Gimbernat Hall of the RAMC, a former anatomical amphitheatre dating from the 18th century. The signing was carried out by our President Joan Jan\u00e9 i Mateu on behalf of the Foundation, and by Dr Josep Antoni Bomb\u00ed i Latorre on behalf of the RAMC. Also present were Dr Llu\u00eds Guerrero i Sala, Director of Gimbernat, and Dr Xavier Sierra i Valent\u00ed, Editor-in-Chief of Gimbernat and member of the Board of Trustees of our Foundation.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1130 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/janemateufoundation.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/ramc2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1200\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Gimbernat is a journal of articles on the history of medicine and other biomedical and health sciences, such as pharmacy, veterinary medicine, dentistry, nursing, physiotherapy, as well as social sciences. It is particularly focused on the Catalan territory, although it also publishes articles on other places. It is mainly published in Catalan, although it also accepts articles in other languages (Spanish, English, French, Portuguese&#8230;). In addition to its print edition, it is also available at <span style=\"color: #e75089;\"><a style=\"color: #e75089;\" href=\"https:\/\/raco.cat\/index.php\/Gimbernat\">https:\/\/raco.cat\/index.php\/Gimbernat<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The Jan\u00e9 Mateu Foundation, which aims to promote current and future research
