At the Jané Mateu Foundation, we maintain a strong commitment to children’s health and social well-being.
We share the latest updates from our collaboration with the Enriqueta Villavecchia Foundation, an organization dedicated to improving the quality of life of children with serious illnesses and supporting their families.
Signing of the collaboration agreement
On January 16, we formalized a partnership to sponsor the Espai Escoles, Professionals i Biblioteca, which will be inaugurated in the first quarter of 2026 under the name Sala Jané Mateu Foundation. This new space will be key in training health professionals and developing transformative projects in pediatric care. The donation will be made progressively between 2025 and 2026, reaffirming our commitment to education, healthcare, and social impact.
Laying the foundation stone for the Pabellón de la Victoria
The Pabellón de la Victoria, Spain’s first pediatric hospice, is a groundbreaking project in palliative care for children. In collaboration with the Enriqueta Villavecchia Foundation, we laid the foundation stone at the Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau. This space is designed to offer dignified, specialized support for children and their families.
Celebrating the 35th anniversary of the Enriqueta Villavecchia Foundation
The Enriqueta Villavecchia Foundation celebrated its 35th anniversary with an event at the Basilica of Santa Maria del Mar, bringing together healthcare professionals, families, and public authorities. During the celebration, the Pabellón de la Victoria project was also presented—an initiative set to transform pediatric oncology and palliative care in Spain.
