CODE AND VALUES

Established on 22 September 2021, the Jané Mateu Foundation is constituted as a private non-profit foundation, which will be governed by its own statutes, by the Catalan regulations on foundations and by the remaining legal provisions applicable to it.

To comply with the strict transparency obligations to which the Foundation is firmly committed, the Jané Mateu Foundation Board of Trustees approved the foundation’s adhesion to the Jané Mateu Foundation Code of Good Governance at its meeting on 14 February 2022. Code of Good Governance of the Coordinadora Catalana de Fundacions (Catalan Coordination of Foundations). To comply with the strict transparency obligations to which the Foundation is firmly committed, the Jané Mateu Foundation Board of Trustees approved the foundation’s adhesion to the Jané Mateu Foundation Code of Good Governance at its meeting on 14 February 2022.

The Jané Mateu Foundation’s Code of Good Governance complements the foundation’s statutes. This is the result of the decision of its Board of Trustees to provide itself with a set of recommendations, rules and principles intended to improve the governance of the foundation in order to efficiently fulfil its mission in the terms decided by its founder Juan Jané Mateu”
