The Board of Trustees has the responsibility to fulfil the foundational aims and to diligently administer the assets and rights that make up the Foundation’s estate, maintaining the yield and usefulness of this estate.

Our founder and patron for life, Juan Jané Mateu, has been president of the STE Group, rooted in the health and pharmaceutical sector, for more than 45 years.
Juan Jané is an empathic, observant, intuitive and tenacious self-taught man. His ability to get up every day with a dream and know how to transmit it to his collaborators has been the driving force behind his life and career. From the very beginning, he has been strongly committed to the continuity of his project.
In this trajectory, the unconditional support of his mother, Conchita Mateu, who was an example of positivity, strength and know-how, as well as the bonds of union with the Marchesini family with whom he has shared values such as integrity and perseverance, which have also contributed to his evolution as a person and as a businessman, were key from the beginning.
The birth of this Foundation arose from Juan Jané Mateu’s desire to support initiatives aimed at developing innovative projects in the world of health, the results of which can be applied to improving people’s quality of life.
In short, a whole life marked by great challenges and difficulties that he has always overcome with enthusiasm and courage, thanks also to the invaluable support and involvement of committed people who have accompanied him throughout his professional career.
